Groups of artisans in the mountainous land of Northern Thailand keep on local wisdom and continue working on craftworks for daily use. Muang - Thitirat Asawakrisee, the artisan of the Iu Mien team from Pong, Phayao, pairs with the team of Thai and Japanese designers to put the original patterns into children’s toys they have made. On the other hand, Phupha - Kongrit Chuesa-ard, the artisan of the Tai Lue Wat Yuan cultural center, Chiang Kham, Phayao, has a chance to meet a well versed designer who is interested in weaving right from the beginning and a Japanese designer who gets an inspiration from traditional to make several styles of lamps.
